I am super excited to share the #familiesintheWord Bible reading challenge for March!
Putting this month’s reading plan together was such a challenge because it is ALL ABOUT JESUS! Of course, the fact that this plan focuses on Jesus wasn’t the hard part. The hard part was deciding what to put in and what to leave out!
All but three of our readings this month are in the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), and each sets us right in the middle of the Gospel story, and the week of Holy week (Palm Sunday through Resurrection Sunday – Easter) coordinates with Clean on the Inside: A Family Devotional for Holy Week, which was written to help you really explain to your kids — in a practical, down-to-earth way — what Jesus death and resurrection really means in our lives.
I will be posting coordinating activities, videos, songs, and ideas each week to accompany the week’s readings, except during Holy Week, so come on back here for those ideas or subscribe below. For the week of Holy Week, grab a copy of Clean on the Inside. It will be worth it!
I am so excited to immerse our family in the Word this month, focusing fully on Jesus.
Will you commit to reading God’s Word every day with your family? Download the reading plan, grab a Bible and your kids, invite a friend or two to join in, and jump into the challenge using the hashtag #familiesintheWord!
I can’t wait to see how God works in and through our families as we spend time in His Word together every day this month!!
Are you in?
