Our goal here at Faithful Moms is to help moms and their kids connect with God and each other. We believe that walking with Jesus = a transformed life, and that transformation is possible in us as moms AND in our kids!
CONTENT
The content we share on Faithful Moms can be inspirational, practical, and story-driven, or share helpful resources.
We are currently seeking articles for the fall of 2018 on the following topics and will consider articles that are written as a testimony/personal experience, share helpful resources, or offer practical ways to develop and grow in these areas ::
- Scripture Memory
- Prayer
- Making room for rest even in a busier schedule
- Walking by faith
- Perseverance
- Praying for our kids
- How your family handles Halloween
- Nurturing gratitude
- How to walk through suffering with hope
- faith-focused Thanksgiving traditions
- meaningful, simple ways to draw near to Jesus during Advent
On an on-going basis, we also consider posts related to the heartbeat of Faithful Moms :: encouraging, equipping, and empowering women to
- grow in their relationship with Jesus
- nurture faith in their kids
- connect with their kids!
REQUIREMENTS & FORMATTING GUIDELINES
- Original content :: All submissions must be original and well-written, not previously published anywhere else (online or in print and even on your own website). The day your post goes live, please share a short excerpt on your blog and link to the full post on Faithful Moms.
- Word Count :: The post should be between 600 and 1,000 words.
- Linking :: It’s ok to link back to your own blog once in your post, but please do not include affiliate links. You may include an additional link to your website and two of your social media handles in your short bio (see below).
- Scripture :: When quoting a verse from the Bible, please include the translation you use (ESV, NIV, NLT, etc.).
- Do not indent new paragraphs.
- Please avoid being self-promotional in the body of your article as we want to always point our stories back to Jesus.
- Proofread and spell-check: Please review your submission for grammar, sentence flow, accuracy and spelling several times before submitting. If your post is clearly unedited, we will not post it.
- Images :: You may send 3-5 high-quality images for consideration (not required). They may not be used if I see a better fit for the topic and website.
RESPONSE TIME
We are so grateful you are taking the time to submit a post to Faithful Moms! You will receive an e-mail response from us within two weeks. If you do not hear from us, assume we did not receive your submission and please re-submit.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT ALL SUBMISSIONS ARE ON A VOLUNTEER BASIS ONLY. WE ARE UNABLE TO COMPENSATE FOR ANY ACCEPTED SUBMISSIONS AT THIS TIME.
