Truth
- “Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! We don’t play the major role. If we did, we’d probably go around bragging that we’d done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing” (Ephesians 2:7-10 MSG).
- “So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow” (1 Corinthians 3:7).
Pray Truth
O Father God, I thank you that you are the Savior! Saving is all your idea and all your work. All we need to do is trust you enough to let you do it!
Help us as parents to remember that we are to plant the seeds, but it is you, Lord, it is you who makes those seeds grow! We cannot save our children, only you can. Today we surrender again the control we try to have over our children’s souls, and we trust you . We trust you, Lord, and we join you in the work that you are doing.
Thank you for the incredible privilege of pouring our lives and your love into these children. We trust you to be at work in them.
Help us not to doubt when we do not see the harvest; rather strengthen our faith, that we might trust you to bring about the harvest according to your right timing and in the right season.

i love this series you are doing. and today’s is so good as my older son (who will be 17 on sunday) is going out on his first date tonight. and i am undone.
Oh girl! Praying for you … and for your son … tonight. It is so hard to let go and trust. Praying you know His peace and rest in the midst of the letting go.
Thank you, Erika, for leading us in the pray and play this month. I am also keeping you in prayer, as I am committed to finish this challenge, with faithful anticipation to watch God work in my children & our family! Blessings to you!
